Affiliate marketing is when you promote another company s product and service and when someone buys these products or services you get paid a commission. These commissions will vary from 1% right up to 100%.
It is an amazing way to generate extra or even full-time income from the comfort of your own home without having the hassle of holding stock or creating products.
There is, like most things a bit more to it to make this a successful business. The internet is always changing and one of the most valuable tools is being able to learn and replicate from other people who have already been successful.

How You Can Sign Up For Free For Wealthy Affiliate
Step1 – To join as a free starter member all you need to do is fill in a few details such as email and name and then you have your free account on Wealthy Affiliate simple and painless as no credit card is required. The page will look like this…
Step2 – Next you want to complete your profile with an image of yourself, this will mean that more people are likely to connect with you, you can then learn more from them and succeed much quicker. I have well over 2,000 people in my network just by being active and many are full-time income earners, it’s no wonder I succeeded! Remember you can to 🙂
A great head and shoulders image of yourself is recommended (and you are more likely to get other members’ to connect with you).
Step 3 – I then added a description to my profile page which people always comment on when connecting. This can be a few words or a lengthy piece it’s up to you. Tip: Tell your story, where you have been, what led you to Wealthy Affiliate and where you want to be in the future.
On completing these tasks you will have members connecting with you I had over 20 members connect with me instantly which was very reassuring that others were there, all offering support and guidance.
You don’t get that on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter! LOL
Step 4 – The final thing I would do before exploring what the site has to offer is to create your goals. You are more likely to achieve these goals if they are written down.

Create Your First Website In 10 Minutes
As I mentioned previously I created my website within minutes and you can too it’s super simple! The website’s section is where you can do this. In a minute I will walk you through the process so you can see how easy it is.
As a Starter member, you can create 2 websites absolutely free of charge, no need for a domain name or hosting. Although, as your website grows I would recommend that you buy a domain and hosting I did exactly that and I will cover this process later on in the article.
Where else can you get two free websites and hosting without paying a dime! Answers in the comments below haha! In fact, when you upgrade you can have up to 50 that’s right FIFTY of your own websites hosting on their platform… it’s just incredible!
But, before I got into that let’s show you just how simple it is to create your website.
Step 1 – From your dashboard head over the websites and then choose the site builder option.
Step 2 – If you have your own domain you can use it here, or purchase one directly from the Wealthy Affiliate site. They even give you the option to create a domain on their hosting platform for free and that’s exactly what I did.
Add in a few other details and a couple of minutes later I had my site live on the internet… Voila!
How simple and easy was that!
Now to create some content…
Content Is King!
Wealthy Affiliate has made creating content so simple for you. Within Site content, you can create pages and posts and then upload directly to your site without even going onto your site. I personally have never seen this before and again for those not familiar with the WordPress dashboard it makes it crazy easy to populate your website with content. Before you know it you will have your first blog post written.
I have always struggled with writing in fact, I never did pass my English exams. Even with this in just under a year I have published well over 100,000 words through this system. I also have loads of keywords ranking in the search engines too but more on that later in this post.
All of the above features are available to Starter members’ so there really isn’t an easier way to get a free website live on the internet and start creating amazing content that ranks.
Tools To Help You
Within the Starter membership, you also get access to their own keyword research tool Jaaxy plus you can have up to 30 searches (which I found to be plenty for loads of research)
On the premium membership, you get access to Jaaxy lite for free which includes unlimited searches, plus you can track historical rankings and monitor your website authority. Building and managing your keyword lists can be done on the platform as well as spying on your competition.
Finding relevant affiliate programs within your niche is another feature you can use too.
What Information Do You Get?
When you do a search through Jaaxy you will get the following information.
- Keyword – You get a list of keywords or phrases relevant to the keyword you typed into the search bar
- Avg – The average number of searches made for this keyword in one month
- Traffic – The approximate amount of traffic you could achieve with a first-page ranking
- QSR – Quoted Search Results the number of competing websites ranked in Google for that exact keyword.
- KQI – Keyword quality indicator evaluates the quality of the keyword green is good red is bad
- SEO – A score based on traffic and competition the higher the number the better chance of ranking

The live chat facility is great to ask questions or meet like-minded people. You get access for 7 days as a Starter member. I found that members’ were very quick to answer any queries I had and offer support and encouragement too. This is great for building relationships which help enormously going forward.

If i were to rate the three major offerings (Community, Training and Hosting) it would be in that order. By far, the community is the best part of WA. If you ever have a question, hit a snag, need help or want to bounce an idea off someone, the community is more than happy to help. That’s not to say that training and hosting lack in some way. They don’t. It’s just that the community is so amazing.
WA gives you everything you need to succeed and they don’t make promises of making money in x days or y dollars a month. What they do promise is to provide the training you need to become successful online and they deliver on that promise. Is success guaranteed, no, but the only reason for failure is lack of effort on your side as WA does provide, what I would argue is, the best platform out there.

Any online training that guarantee you success is something to avoid. No one can give you that kind of affirmation because achieving full income online is a long ordeal. People can layout the steps for you, but without taking massive action, even the best training will not produce you any results. 2. How long after joining did you start earning money? How much after 6 months? After a year?
3. Are you earning a full time living now?
Thanks for your question of which I am happy to answer truthfully. I have been with WA just under 12 months, I started earning after a few months and now have regular monthly commissions which are growing every month. I am not yet earning a full time living but watch this space as I know it will not be that long now.
With waealthy affilliate, i dont think that success is far fetched. I have seen many people who have joined the platform over time and they too can testify to the fact that there is success there. Even i despite joining a few months ago have started earning too. There are real testimonials and all this credit goes to the awesome training and the tools that have been put to place just so many people can make money with it. I will advise anyone to join. Starting an online business is something most people dream to do, and I have been following up the affiliate market and have seen the progress in it with the rate people are going into the business. Getting a platform to get training became a priority for me and I choose wealthy affiliate. With the rate at which I have seen so many success stories about it, I have hope I can also achieve success from the training program.
