The popularity of blogging has become huge over the last few years, with platforms such as WordPress making it really simple to get up and running in just a few hours. That said some hard work and learning is always needed to keep up to date with the ever-changing blogging niche.

Okay so you have your site up and running!
Let’s run through some easy strategies you can start to implement to bring in the dosh…
I will be explaining these in order of preference and ease of implementation.
1. Affiliate Marketing
By far and away the easiest and best way to start generating income online from your blog. With affiliate marketing you will get paid when or visitor clicks on a link on your blog and takes the relevant action. This could, be a purchase, sign up or even just visiting another web page. Once this happens you as the affiliate then earn a commission… Whoop! Yes it is that easy.
What makes it even easier there are affiliate programs that cover all the common niches. You can even join Amazons affiliate program and promote any of their millions of products. All affiliate programs are free to join (never pay to join any program) so may need proof your site is getting traffic and creating great content but there will be others you can join immediately if your just getting started.
2. Selling Your Own Products
You may of course already have a business that you want to blog about. There is nothing stopping you from selling your products such as e-books, video courses and memberships directly from your blog or indirectly with physical products from places such as EBay or Etsy.
Even if you have no products of your own to sell, there is nothing to stop from creating your own products and adding them to your blog in the future. This will give you another income stream.
3. Offering Your Sevices
You could offer services such as one to one consultation, design or writing services. Although these don’t strictly come from blogging itself they would be offered from your blog.
4. Advertising
The one thing you need for this one to work well is targeted traffic and plenty of it, hence why it is better to add this strategy as your blog become more popular. Some of the best paying advertising sites require you to have 25,000 sessions in a 30-day period before you can even apply. As a starter you can add Google ad sense from day one but this would take time to generate any revenue.
With advertising I would class this as another income stream rather than a possible full time income source. But that said once your have a good flow of traffic every month, well worth adding to your blog.
5. Guest Posting
Indirectly, guest posting on other peoples blogs can be very lucrative. Some steps you will need to take before you can start to do this. First, make sure you are posting consistently to your own blog and that the content is getting comments and shares. Once your blog has started to get noticed by influencers within your niche, then this is the time to start connecting with these people and asking about creating posts for their blogs.
So why guest post anyway
Guest posting on blogs that are well-established does two things…
- It will send you more traffic, as these influencers blogs will be generating thousands of visitors every single month. When you write your blog posts they will allow you to link back to your own blog, and in doing so will generate your own traffic.
- It will also start to show you as an expert and because of this you will automatically get more people following you and your blog. Again this will generate more traffic to your blog.
Either way this is a great way to grow your brand online.
6. Sponsored Posts
As your blog grows and you get more exposure, there will be the opportunity of getting paid to write specially about certain products and have the companies or individuals sponsor the post. So will offer a one off payment, others a monthly fee this can all be negotiated at the time.
This would a detailed post about the advantages of this particular product or service, with links back to their website or sales page but remember you get no commission if your visitor chooses to purchase the product as you are getting paid directly upfront by the company.
There are pros and cons to this so choose your products wisely and do some research and testing of the product before you say yes. As sending people to a crap product will damage you and your brand.
Rounding Up
As you can see there are various ways to make money blogging and all can prove very lucrative over time. My favorites by far are Affiliate Marketing and Advertising as these are simple to implement and you can even start making money from a brand new blog.

Happy to find this post. I think nowadays blogging is one of the best way to earn money. But unfortunately, not many people know how to monetize their blogs neither to sell their knowledge… I know some people who love blogging and they do it just for fun, the idea to earn money from the readers sounds too crazy and I think its wrong.

This is a really helpful post about Blogging.
There is no doubt that is it possible to make money from your blogging website, but I would definitely endorse what you say about the need to learn how to do it properly and get traffic regularly to your website. As you say, Wealthy Affiliate will help you with all that, and anyone wanting to start their own website would be strongly advised to seek their help.
There are so many successful bloggers who have learnt their trade from the Wealthy Affiliate platform, and there is absolutely no reason why any newbie should not learn to do the same with their help.

Perhaps best of all is the ability to implement most of these methods at once. So if your blog is earning through affiliate product, you may occasionally accept a sponsored post as well (and so on). All in all, the sky is the limit as long as you have built a solid relationship with your readers.
